Open Access & Article Policy

The Dandakaranya Review Journal (DAR Journal) is committed to the global dissemination of academic research. Below are our official policies regarding access, licensing, and copyright.

Open Access Policy (BOAI Compliant)

The Dandakaranya Review Journal is a fully peer-reviewed Open Access journal. We adhere strictly to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). All article metadata, abstracts, and citations are freely available to the public immediately upon publication, without any subscription, paywalls, or access fees.

Article Access & Download Instructions

While our journal is 100% free of charge, we require users to create a free account and log in to download the full-text PDF files of the articles. This registration process is entirely free and helps us maintain platform security, prevent bot scraping, and provide accurate readership analytics to our authors. Once logged in, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles for lawful, non-commercial purposes.

Copyright & Licensing

Authors publishing in the Dandakaranya Review Journal retain full copyright of their work, granting the journal the right of first publication.

  • NonCommercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  • NoDerivatives: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are encouraged to archive the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu), provided proper citation and a direct link to the original publication on the DAR Journal website are included.

Publishing Platform

The journal utilizes TIGJMS, a manuscript management system developed by The Indian Geographer (TIG), specifically for the Dandakaranya Review Journal. This platform manages manuscript submission, peer review, editorial workflow, and secure online publication, ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content.

Access Information

Abstracts and metadata are completely open and free to read without registration. Registration is only required to download the full PDF files; however, the account creation and all downloads are 100% free of charge and always will be.

DMCA & Copyright Protection Policy

The Dandakaranya Review Journal respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement that are reported to our designated Copyright Agent.
